Moskeet IOT Devices send data to cloud servers even in low network areas. Proprietary Artificial Intelligence algorithms are deployed at TrakItNow cloud servers. The data is processed in real-time so that the mosquito count and other related reports are reflected with the updated data. A browser-based Moskeet Dashboard displays information relayed by Smart Mosquito Sensors to aid the decision of when and where to take control measures. In case of network failure, the data is saved and forwarded when the network is back up.
Because of the then prevailing epidemiological situation, priority was given to Dengue and the carrier, Aedes mosquito. The focus was shifted from conventional anti-larval measures to source reduction activity to tackle Aedes mosquitoes. Adult control was prioritized and the time of activities were planned as per the mosquito activity time monitored by Moskeet. As per the intervention recommendations suggested by ‘Moskeet’ solution both larvicide and adulticide are changed under NVBDCP guidelines.
Interventions, as recommended by the system, were carried out by the respective AEs’ (Asst., Entomologists) of respective areas of GHMC, HYD. Municipal staff.
As the interventions have been carried out, the summary report shows significant reduction in density.
